Forget your ‘Why’ – this is what you need to do instead.
Relatively recently many people have become aware of the power of intention.
How it tells the Universe what you want so that somehow it works its magic to deliver it.
When it comes to our Fitness/Health goals for example, intention is basically the sum of our ‘whys’ and our ‘goals’. We know that in order to achieve the goals we need to add a training and/or nutrition plan.
The final part of the formula is to take action, right?
But this is where we begin to fail… there’s an ingredient missing from this formula which you have been cheating yourself out of – emotion. And, it needs to come in first, before intention and action.
When we fail at our health and fitness goals it is almost always because our emotions let us down. We get tired, sore, hungry, bored, distracted. Despite our great intention and our sweaty hustle, our once motivated and inspired mindset has been compromised and weakened, eventually giving way to our emotional immaturity.
You see, our minds, or to be exact, our thoughts, send out into the Universe an ‘electric’ wave of energy. Basically, this wave tells the Universal Intelligence what it is you want through what you are focusing on. Humans are gold star students when it comes to this step!
What no one really talks about and therefore utilises, is the interesting fact that our emotions send out a wave too! This energy wave is ‘magnetic’. It tells the Universal Intelligence what you want through how you are feeling.
Humans score a D-minus at best with this, simply because their feelings exist in the now or in the past. It’s not rocket science to then see that one of those energy waves is only going out. The other, being magnetic, is making like a boomerang and not only gives the Universal Intelligence the ‘what', but it gives it the way back to you too!
So, no matter how hard you hustle or how green your smoothie, no matter how focused and determined you are and, even if you were to achieve the goal, chances are that maintaining it is a different ball game. This is because you may not have the emotional connection to that lifestyle, so the Universe can’t keep delivering it.
Having an emotional connection that is aligned to your goal is the secret here – one that is stronger than the other weaker emotions of the past.

Try adding these easy steps as the first ingredient to your formula and watch your results appear faster and last longer!
1. Always start by expressing Gratitude for at least a minute or so.

2. Feel what it feels like to be in the energy of the achieved goal.
So, if your goal is to run a half marathon, feel the emotion of crossing that finish line – exhilarated, sweaty, adrenaline pumping, ridiculously proud, thirsty! Once you have achieved 30 seconds in the emotions and you aren’t trying to talk yourself into it, immediately stop and…
3. Say out loud…
“I feel this way because – I just completed the half marathon, I gave it my all, I did it!” (this is bringing in the other wave of thought or intention which is now in alignment with the emotions).
There you have it, you have just given the Universal Intelligence the full formula it needs to deliver an A-plus.
