Eat More Food!

Eat more food.

Yes that’s right, you heard me – Eat more food.

But not food-like substances… Eat more REAL food.

Flood your body with vibrant, delicious, freshness straight from nature.

Choosing food is about working with your body, supporting it because let’s face it our body’s are amazing. No matter what we do to them they keep on going and doing their best.

Sometimes their best involves aches and pains and dis-ease, they become confused or overwhelmed, and who can blame them… but these are symptoms, our body’s cries for some extra attention, healing or balance.

Body’s naturally heal themselves it’s what they do. Think about when you cut your finger, straight away your body jumps into action and starts to repair itself, you didn’t have to do anything, it’s just what it does.

And the food you choose to eat can play a significant part of this process.

I’m not suggesting that food will cure all and every symptom your body may be showing you. But the food we eat plays a huge part in giving our body the nutrients and building blocks that it needs to build, repair and replace our cells, which in turn creates our organs, which create our bodily systems which create what we recognise as our human body, which create/house us.

If that isn’t enough reason to spend some care and attention ADDING fresh and vibrant food to your day, I’m not sure what is…

But if you’d like some more reasons, here are some benefits many of my clients have experienced as they’ve increased their intake of fresh, natural food straight from nature; raw food (rarely to 100%)

  • More energy
  • Clear skin
  • Weight loss
  • Clarity of thoughts
  • Feelings of deep peace and connection
  • Better digestion
  • Ease of inflammation
  • A renewed enthusiasm for food

I could go on but you get the idea…

So what’s stopping you?

When you next go to the supermarket or do your food shopping, spend longer in the fresh produce aisle and really pay attention to what nature has created for you.

Take a moment to familiarise yourself with the colours, the shapes, the textures and the aroma of vibrant food. Pick it up, feel it, give it a gentle squeeze. Hold it to your nose and inhale, run your fingers over it – notice how it feels.

Fresh food is all about fun, vibrancy and health.

Take a step towards nature and allow her delights to support and nourish you.

Just as spending time in nature when you’re walking along a beach with the sun shining on your skin, or walking along a river with the trees nearby, refreshes and soothes your emotions, so too does eating food from nature refresh and sooth your body.

So next time you’re shopping for food, stop and take a moment to explore and discover the perfect and abundant bounty nature has created just for you.
