Wrapped in Chocolate
Dinner reservations, red roses, boxes of chocolates – yes, we love them all, but don't we all hanker after something just a little bit different? A little bit special? Well here's a great recipe that will blow your partner's mind in regards to being different and special!!
Edible Chocolate & Champagne Body Wrap
200 gm dark chocolate
1/2 cup champagne
1/3 cup honey
Blend strawberries, champagne and honey.
Melt chocolate over a double boiler and add to blended ingredients and allow to cool.
Then let the fun begin….. Get your partner naked and using your fingers, spread the body wrap around their body. Wrap loosely in cling film or use some old towels to maintain heat. Feed partner left over champagne and a champagne truffle ( recipe below!!) and when you are both ready start to slowly lick the chocolate body wrap off. Let nature take its course and enjoy!! (so much better than a meal for two at the local Italian!!)
200gm white chocolate pieces for ganache
1/8 cup champagne
100gm milk chocolate for coating
100gm grated dark chocolate
Bring cream up to a gentle boil and pour over over the white chocolate, stirring until all the chocolate has melted. Add champagne slowly and stir. Leave in fridge for 30 minutes to allow ganache to cool and harden.
When cool, use a teaspoon of ganache at a time and roll into balls. Return balls to fridge.
Melt milk chocolate over a double boiler. When the milk chocolate has melted take the balls from the fridge. Place a ganache ball on a fork and dip the ball into the melted chocolate so it is all coated, then lift the fork up and tap against the side of the bowl to get rid of the extra chocolate and place on a tray with the grated dark chocolate. Roll and cover the truffle in the grated chocolate and leave on a parchment covered tray to set. Repeat with the rest of the ganache balls.
Additional accompaniments that will enhance the flavour and the experience: blindfold and feather.
Enjoy your valentines night!!!!
